To be a salesperson who sells, you do not have to have an outgoing personality or a glib line. You have to do the following:

  1. Determine your “customer’s” needs.
  2. Determine how your “product” will satisfy your customer’s needs.
  3. Develop an unshakable attitude of persistence and tenacity.
  4. Make the “sales call.”
  5. Ask for the order.
  6. Be prepared to make as many sales calls as are necessary to get the order.
