Yesterday I flew from Halifax to Winnipeg. When I got here I had a great sleep woke up this morning ready to change the world. I came to Winnipeg to present a seminar to entrepreneurs for Scotiabank for the launch of their new initiative www.getgrowingforbusiness.com.
The reason I love Winnipeg is:
- Today the weather is absolutely beautiful here
- We had an excellent turnout at the seminar
- I enjoyed presenting the seminar
- The people in Winnipeg are really friendly
After the seminar I went to the mall and visited the McNally Robinson bookstore. It’s one of the best bookstores in Canada and their restaurant is superb. So I spent the afternoon buying books, having lunch at the restaurant in the store and developing a strategy to grow our business.
Just so you know I judge a city by its bookstores.
