Identify your target market to drive sales

When growing your business, you don’t have any time to waste. You must concentrate your efforts effectively. It’s easier
to attract new clients when you have a clear idea of who those clients might be.
In sales, that means:

  • Target, target, target… Identify your ideal target market.

    • What target market (group, niche) can you supply better than anybody else?

    • Where (area/city/province/country/community) are these customers located?
    • Who are these customers? Are they from a particular demographic or industry?
    • Which customers will potentially be your most profitable?
  • Look at your current database, identify profiles of your best clients and find customers similar to the ones
you currently like doing business with.
