Torontorians aren’t just having trouble getting rid of their garbage, they’re also having trouble getting their new business off the ground.
As the strike by Toronto municipal workers continues, the GTA’s new entrepreneurs are locked out of Enterprise Toronto’s three GTA locations. The municipal worker strike leaves them without their usual day-to-day guidance – but not completely without support.
With the Enterprise Centres closed, BizLaunch.ca is extending an open invitation to small business owners to come attend our free seminars around the GTA.
Bizlauch has trained over 20,000 entrepreneurs worldwide and some of Toronto’s most successful entrepreneurs. In the current economic climate, it is important to help stimulate small business in Canada. According to Statistics Canada, over 37,000 Canadians became self-employed in the month of April alone. Because of this boom, BizLaunch feels it’s important to give these new small businesses guidance and training.
We can’t let the strike rob entrepreneurs of the chance to grow their businesses. With unemployment rising and recession dragging on, the unemployed are turning to entrepreneurship during these tough times.
To help entrepreneurs, BizLaunch and STAPLES are currently offering a series of free, how-to, small business seminars at local stores in Toronto, Scarborough, Brampton, Markham, and Newmarket. In addition, entrepreneurs can access our resources and through one on one coaching.
Topics covered at these seminars include:
