Having a top google ranking is nice if that&#039;s where you want a lot of business from, but there&#039;s something to be said about the power of word of mouth marketing. I&#039;m consulting with a client at the moment and we had the same discussion - &quot;where does your website fit in your overall marketing strategy?&quot; and the same can be asked of social media. There are very successful businesses that exist that don&#039;t use either.</description>
