The More You Travel, The More You Learn

Russia

I have just returned from an interesting trip where I worked with small business support centres in Russia. The objective of the project is to make small business support services self sustainable.

I have developed a system to:
1. Evaluate services offered by business support centres

2. Train business advisers and other support centre staff how to develop products and services to generate revenue

3. Train support centres to build a small business community online and offline

4. Market small business support services

5. Plan events, training and programs that fit in with local economic development goals

The project supported by the Danish Foreign Affairs and Economic Development. Now that I have developed the system I have realised it something we could use in Canada to help small business

  • Great stuff.

I feel the same way about using prior projects.
Any initiative I do, and I mean ANY, will be used in any other place it is useful.

It is not good to waste time and energy looking for the "new" way, when something you already have done works perfectly.

It is also important not to be selfish with your knowledge. If you give a lot, a lot will come back to you.
