To get our economy growing we need to give back. If you’ve had some success building your own small business this is how you can help:
- Start by mentoring a few start-ups
- Teach a small business course at your local college, school or business support centre
- Use social media(Blog, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn) to share your knowledge and experience
- Write a book or ebook on what it takes to build a successful small business
- Encourage, motivate and inspire people to take their ideas and turn them into a viable business

Hello All, what I find very frustrating is the lack of one-stop- business start up resource centre in our large city of Toronto- problably none exist in this Canada. Instead of disconnected services at Enterprise Toronto (local) – NRC-IRAP/BDC (National) and provinical resources -MARs group etc. and their half-hearted, “exclusive” club mentality, what is needed is to bring all these services together under one roof (all 3 levels) lower entry level- Do not discriminate- Canada is already multicultural please and most important – Give the small businesses resepect they deserve. Governments/ media/ “experts” agree small business are the very important tour economies yet to start one- you are ridiculed, made to go through hell- this encourages extreme selfishness- watch CBC's Dragon show. Many startups do not need money at first- just organized guidance from the early years- this is not there. We can easily shift the 90% business failures to 90% success if there was real assistance for businesses.
