Instead of disconnected services at Enterprise Toronto (local) - NRC-IRAP/BDC (National) and provinical resources -MARs group etc. and their half-hearted, "exclusive" club mentality, what is needed is to bring all these services together under one roof (all 3 levels) lower entry level- Do not discriminate- Canada is already multicultural please and most important - Give the small businesses resepect they deserve. Governments/ media/ "experts" agree small business are the very important tour economies yet to start one- you are ridiculed, made to go through hell- this encourages extreme selfishness- watch CBC's Dragon show. Many startups do not need money at first- just organized guidance from the early years- this is not there. We can easily shift the 90% business failures to 90% success if there was real assistance for businesses.
