I'm very surprised there is no mention of green / sustainability issues in your list.

Both increased environmental legislation and recovering consumer demand (reinforced by heightened awareness of green and ethical issues such as Fairtrade etc) will have a huge impact on small business activity across the board.

Or should I say, there will be growing opportunities for those small business that can foresee how such pressures will impact on them and take action accordingly.
